Jeanie Marie Buss was born in the US. she is currently president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. A California native, Buss grew up in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who went on to own the Lakers along with other sports companies. After her parents divorced in 1972, she began to feel emotionally abandoned. As she turned 19 old, she began working for the family business as the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. She founded later an organization called the Los Angeles Blades, a professional, roller-hockey club. She also served as president of the Great Western Forum before assuming the position of vice president for the Lakers. Buss was the inheritor of the Lakers through her father's estate in the year 2013. The five siblings she had inherited it through a family trust. She took on the role of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss co-owns Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotional business based out of Los Angeles.
